Golem: Young world

From the ashes of the Godswar, an apocalyptic event which led to the death of almost every divine being in the Universe, the last god begins the tentative creation of a single world. This being, a god which once embodied martial combat, has sworn themselves to pacifism and seeks to embody a new meaning through the world they create. To this end, it has given the creatures it creates a singular command: “determine your own purpose on this, my world bequeathed to you”. The player is one of these creations, a being of simple but malleable clay.
At the start of the game, the player has found meaning in one particular activity: fighting its creator’s other creations. They do not know why, but the routine of fighting, beating, and occasionally losing to these other beings brings themselves a degree of satisfaction that nothing else does. Through the course of the game, the player character develops themselves through understanding WHY they fight, and whether or not this is the path they wish to go down.
